I am a Senior in homeschool but attended a public high school last year. I am just curious, what is your opinion of the two’ I believe that homeschool is academically better and the work is more. The only thing I really liked about public school was being with friends and doing athletics, not sports just the athletics part. I jad many friends from church and whatnot before PS so socialism was never a problem. Which do you consider best academically’ Are homeschoolers typically smarter and better prepared for what we call the “real world”‘ I enjoyed both home and public school, I only want opinions BUT I would appreciate it if those who know nothing about or even hate homeschool would not disrespect it. I respect both. Thank you
@ Donnie Porko- yes, many homeschoolers are socially awkward BUT many of them are not. We have computers, tv, magazines, friends from church and other places. We are not socially awkward at all. My oldest brother has a great job where he has tons of friends, he is taking college classes where he jas a bunch of friends and he has a very serious relationship with his GF. I hav a part time waitressing j job where I interact with very many types of people. I’m a very small girl and I get picked on a lot about my size lol…. Homeschoolers DO get bullied esp by people who are ignorant about homeschool. We have jobs, we help with groceries, we pay our phone bills, we run errands, we know how to do everyday chores. Everyday is another day to learn an essential life skill and homeschoolers have a ton of time to learn it and use it. We are very prepared for the “real world”
