I wont lie, we live in a rough area, people have been stabbed at the local primary school and the rest in my zone are equally as bad. If we send our kid to private school we can afford it, but just barely. My mum thinks it will be worse for the kids to go private as we wont be able to go on awesome overseas holidays like is common amongst the general students, and we will be one of the poorer families and that they would be better off in a public school close to home.
What do you think’
Also we are in Australia, So im not sure what a charter or independent studies school is! lol!
Homeschooling and volunteering at school is not really practical, We really need a second income as soon as our younger is in kinder.
